Voices and Votes: Democracy in America is based on a major exhibition currently on display at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C., and tells the story of America’s democratic form of government.

The City of North Port has added a full-time case manager to assist those experiencing the crisis of homelessness in southern Sarasota County.The case manager will work with North Port Police Department’s Homeless Outreach Team and the City’s Social Services Division.

Partners for Green Places was launched last fall to inspire local organizations to implement sustainability measures through energy- and water-efficiency improvements.
