Gulf Coast Leadership Institute (GCLI) is a leadership-training initiative designed to identify, develop, and connect a diverse group of aspiring and experienced leaders from across our region. Gulf Coast will select up to 26 individuals to participate in this year’s class. The foundation provides all training and resources at no cost to participants in exchange for their commitment to use their new skills to benefit their community.

The program will consist of seven in-depth training sessions from April through June. Attendance at all sessions is required to ensure the most valuable experience for participants. Gulf Coast has commissioned the internationally acclaimed Leadership Development Institute of Eckerd College to provide this comprehensive training. Class members will be selected with the intent of creating a diverse group of individuals that represents our region’s public, private, and independent sectors. Selection criteria include leadership potential and participation in community and professional organizations. Community volunteers of all ages as well as professionals are encouraged to apply.

The deadline to apply for this year’s GCLI class is 11:59 p.m. on March 15. All applicants will be notified of their status in April.
