The county and city of Sarasota, along with funding partners Gulf Coast Community Foundation and Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation, have secured a $150,000 national matching grant for a project to create financial savings for area nonprofits through energy improvements at their facilities.
New Center Provides Services, Support for Unaccompanied Homeless Youth
Homeless-service providers, community leaders, philanthropists, and young advocates who have experienced homelessness themselves gathered on Thursday, October 18, for a ribbon-cutting and dedication at the new Harvest House Youth Center, a drop-in center exclusively for 16- to 24-year-olds who are homeless or at-risk.Donate Now for Hurricane Michael Relief and Recovery
In response to Hurricane Michael, Gulf Coast Community Foundation has activated our Gulf Coast Disaster Fund to accept tax-deductible charitable gifts in support of relief, recovery, and rebuilding in communities affected by the storm.
