New Website Offers Free Nonprofit Resources

Gulf Coast Community Foundation has introduced a new online resource with tools, templates, and how-to guides to help nonprofits in our region address the challenges and opportunities they face today.

Gulf Coast NonprofitNext is available for use by charitable organizations in Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee counties. Representatives of qualified nonprofits can go here to create an account.

“We want our nonprofit partners to spend less time searching for the right resource or tool and more time working to advance their mission,” says Wendy Deming, Gulf Coast’s chief of staff.

Resources You Need, When You Need Them

The new website contains hundreds of vetted resources for nonprofits in areas such as:
•    board governance
•    communications
•    finance
•    fundraising
•    human resources
•    and more

Tools and resources available for your use include:
•    sample governance documents
•    development plans
•    fundraising worksheets
•    marketing templates
•    job descriptions and performance evaluations
•    financial dashboards and audit checklists
•    how-to guides
•    expert videos

The “Three-Legged Stool”

The online portal is a big enhancement to Gulf Coast’s Invest in Incredible (I3) initiative. I3 provides technical assistance, training, and resources to help nonprofits strengthen their governance and operational capacity.

In conjunction with professional consulting services and group training workshops we offer, this new regional website enables Gulf Coast to assist nonprofits of all sizes, wherever they are in their evolution.

“I like to think of our capacity-building resources as a ‘three-legged stool’ that supports our nonprofit partners,” says Deming. “Through Invest in Incredible, we offer one-on-one consulting services, group workshops for training and peer learning, and now a rich online resource for self-directed learning and help.”

The site is sponsored exclusively by Gulf Coast in this four-county region. NonprofitNext is a service of the New Hampshire Center for Nonprofits.
