Through grants and strategic community initiatives, Gulf Coast invests in the work of effective nonprofit organizations that help transform our region.

Grant opportunities and other support that we offer community organizations are described below:

• Leveraged, Transformative, and Community Grants

  Gulf Coast Community Foundation invites nonprofit organizations to partner with us to transform our region through bold ideas, creative projects, and proactive philanthropy. Our Board of Directors is focused on leveraged and transformative grantmaking in our 2013 fiscal year (July 2012 – June 2013). Please review our grant guidelines below for eligibility criteria, application requirements, and deadlines.

• Gulf Coast Gives

  This free online resource enables local nonprofits to raise money from the community for specific projects. Projects on the site have 45 days to reach their fundraising goal, and success requires nonprofits to market their project through social media and electronic communication.

  Our disaster relief loan program provides low-interest loans on flexible terms to critical local health or human service nonprofit organizations rebuilding in the aftermath of a disaster.
