Civility in Democracy: Election 2008
Civility in Democracy: Election 2008
We live in an increasingly contentious political climate fueled by partisan gridlock, negative campaigns, and declining citizen participation in government. This series of lectures, forums, and workshops during the 2008 presidential election year is designed to promote civility in public life, improve statesmanship among elected officials, and increase citizen participation in government.
