We've taken volunteer matching to a whole new level.

When we decided to create and nurture an online outlet at YoudBePerfectforThis.org for generous local citizens and needy nearby nonprofits to meet in volunteer bliss, we didn't mess around. We took the most direct, intuitive, and inspired route we could think of: We put our money where the mouths were. The big mouths. The influencers. The people who see an opportunity and seize it -- for one of their friends, if not for themselves. It's the Gulf Coast way: to bend an ear, to be persuasive, to take only yes for an answer -- not only to act, but to act upon.

Our relationship with our local nonprofits is the model match: They count on us, and we are inspired by them. Not only do we play a strategic part in supporting their infrastructure and financing their future, but we also look to bolster their bottom line in innovative ways. With You'd Be Perfect For This, we're doing what we can to make sure they are able to keep doing what they can -- at peak efficiency and at "perfect" pitch. Using a complex matrix of matchmaking tools that makes the volunteer relationship almost automatic in its ease, YBPFT operates like a charity-sector dating site, one that links openings with "openers," that special breed of volunteer who widens the scope of operation and enthusiasm for any group.
